A bit expensive but not too bad
Food was absolutely devilish!! Just go for thier set menu you wont go no wrong. Apart of the wahgyu beef which their are famous for, the other starter dish would be the scallop wrap in bacon. Absolutely the bomb!! And the service crews were fantastic, attentive, and very helpful. ðŸ‘ðŸ»ðŸ‘ðŸ»ðŸ‘ðŸ»ðŸ‘ðŸ»ðŸ‘ðŸ»
A long standing and consistent staple of fine food in Niseko. Excellent selection of beef, beautiful wine list, and very knowledgeable and courteous staff to bring it all together. A must every time I am in Niseko.
Excellent Japanese beef steak in Niseko!
Great beef. No need to order expensive Kobe beef, local beef will do just fine
I going to rate this place 5 star because I feel they deserve it. We probably didn't experience what Steak Rosso Rosso had to offer as the meat dishes were quite expensive buy they looked awesome as they came out and people did seem to enjoy it.We enjoyed our selected dishes.Decor was nice and cosy. Staff were polite. Definitely recommend.
Very good steak.
The space is not big, the tables and chairs are too close, and the dining is not very comfortable.
Super worth recommending!
Besides of steaks, many delicious food. Sasauge plate, beacon scallop rows, and Chicken steak sukiyaki are recommended.
I dined here with friends on New Year's Day and ordered the Kobe Beef set. It's a great set and the food was delicious. The steak was fantastic, but I've had better Kobe beef and paid more for that in the past. I still consider this set worth it. Reservations essential during snow season.
Delicious Wagyu so soft. Want to eat more.
Hokkaido beef steak - love it!
Service fantastic, food and steak perfect
Amazing steak, boasting beef from both Australia and a wide variety of different prefectures from Japan, which were very nicely done and of the highest quality, served with a tasty wafu sauce. Staff are all very friendly and spoke fantastic English as well. One caveat is the small size which can get noisy when there are many people there. But other than that, the whole restaurant is fantastic!
Had the set menu, really good. Small place, nice and cosy so we were lucky with 10 people. Scallops, soup, steak all amazing. Do yourself a favour and try this place.
Honestly I had high expectations given the reviews, but I have to say this was a huge let down. We all had the fixed price menu and most of the courses were mediocre at best. I had the A5 wagyu steak as my main course which was very good, but a portion of the steak was a big piece of fat. I can only think that the people writing these reviews must either not have good taste or work for the restaurant. It's not a bad meal by any stretch, but when you see a 4.6 star (google) restaurant with plenty of reviews I expect a high quality experience, especially for over a hundred dollars. If you must go here, please order the Hokkaido filet as it is a third the price of the A5 and might you leave happy.
Really nice wagyu beef. Not the cheapest but high quality
Fantastic food, atmosphere and service!
The atmosphere is warm, the service staff is friendly, the food tastes good, and it is a good choice in the cold and snowy Northland.
Meat, Mecchanko was delicious
Good steak place , love the entrée ! Recommended the set menu .
Awesome place for carnivores. Cozy but elegant dining room in lower hirafu village. Friendly service and good wine list.
I was watching terrace house and a waitress noticed LOL
Don’t know why this place has such high ratings. Steak was cooked very poorly with no flavour. Starters were bang average too.
The meat is tender and the way to grill it is perfect! I wish the iron plate was a little warmer.
Great steak. Many different types of beef and cuts to choose from
Excellent food
The food was quite ok. A bit overpriced. Very noicy
Poor quality steaks. Ordered the Australian sirloin steak and the tokachi Hokkaido steak both to be done medium rare marinated with salt and pepper only. Both came poorly marinated and uncooked in the middle. First meal in Japan I couldn’t finish. Needs to improve. I would suggest ordering smaller cuts and portions at this restaurant. Really disappointing when steak is done poorly.
Great spot to get some wagyu in niseko
Really the most tender and fantastic steak, only 4 star because the restaurant lacks atmosphere and service is good but not polished.
Great food with reasonable prices, unlike many places in Niseko. Bacon wrapped scallops and steak fillet were really good. I recommend ordering local beef, don't need to do kobe. Dessert is also pretty good. Both cheesecake and browniesService is ok - staffs are polite and helpful. I would go back here again
Tried wagyu steak here for the first time. Amazeballs! The food is very good and the service is excellent. Definitely book ahead though as (like with most restaurants in niseko) there isn't much seating space
Best steakhouse in town.
Best beef in Town.
Wonderful meal and the set menu is fabulous. Able to accommodate a group of 13 with a reservation. Lots of options and our group had many different cuts of meat. In the end we decided the Hokkaido fillet was the best value. Make a reservation though! Small place and they turned away more than one group of walk-ins while we were there.
Really great place and Steak delicious
Very very good steak! Different local beef in a variety of cuts although the biggest is 250g and we suggested slightly bigger size but it is really really good!
I used it at dinner while skiing.I ate a Tokachi beef set, but I am satisfied with both quality and quantity.Especially, the appetizer's "scalloped bacon winding (official name is forgotten)" is a dish you would like to order as a single item, and the main meat was delicious in volume and source even at minimum size. Also, Japanese shopkeepers are saying "Good Evening" to Japanese customers, and more shops offering menus that only write alphabets are added, and Hirafu is a precious shop that says "Welcome!"In addition, respondents carefully answered reservations for crowded seasons during New Year's holidays, not by automatic messages, and there was an outstanding sense of security. It is a shop I would like to take advantage of next season.
Great range of Australian and Japanese beef. Very fast and friendly service
Delicious ♪ gentle and fashionable staff ♪
Beefsteack dream
High quality service and the tastiest steak selection in Niseko. Can be pricey but worth every cent.
Very cramped and over rated
A long standing and consistent staple of fine food in Niseko. Excellent selection of beef, beautiful wine list, and very knowledgeable and courteous staff to bring it all together. A must every time I am in the village.
We were pleasantly surprised with our dining experience at Rosso Rosso. After eating at many of the other restaurants in the area we were very much looking forward to a steak. Reservations are crucial in the high season. Service was great to begin, we were greeted warmly and were able to order drinks and our meal quickly. Enjoyed a house salad to start, and had Hokkaido filet steak as the main. Steaks were extremely tender and cooked perfectly, plates have a hot stone on them so you can sear your own meat. Steak comes with fries and some steam vegetables. Waitstaff was very attentive, always filled water etc. Took a while to get the check, our only complaint.
